Young Tipperary rugby players in action at blitzes in Cork and Limerick

Clonmel Rugby Club well represented across the province
It was a busy weekend for Clonmel Rugby Club’s Minis.
The Under 10s travelled to a blitz in Highfield RFC in Cork City while the Under 12s attended a blitz in Rockwell College.
The Under 7s, Under 8s, Under 9s, Under 10s, Under 11s and Under 12s participated in a blitz in Galbally RFC.
The Clonmel teams performed very well and had great fun.
Thanks are again extended to the parents for their support and to all the coaches who continue to develop the Minis players every week.
Final preparations are underway for Clonmel Rugby Club’s Under 9s Festival on Sunday April 6.
It will be one of the biggest underage blitzes in the country this year, with 42 teams from 21 clubs across Munster and Leinster in attendance.
The emphasis will be on rugby and fun, giving the teams an opportunity to play against clubs they would not normally meet in local blitzes.
Clonmel Rugby Club is ideally located in east Munster to welcome clubs as far away as MU Barnhall RFC, Shannon RFC, Bandon RFC and Waterford City RFC, among others.
Clonmel Rugby Club plans to make this inaugural Under 9s Festival an annual fixture on its club calendar to promote the game and grow its Minis membership, which boasts nearly 200 children training every Saturday morning.
The Under 9s Festival on Sunday April 6 is shaping up to be a fantastic event for Clonmel Rugby Club and the wider rugby community.
