McLoughney had another excellent day out for his side in defeat last Saturday and was one of the few Kiladangan forwards who performed throughout the match. His goal in the first half was pure quality and his finishing ability is a really lethal aspect of his game. He gets himself into good positions on and off the ball and finished the day with 1-3.

Use the Next > above to go through the team 11. Conor Stakelum (Thurles Sarsfields) Stakelum's goal early in the second half was a real catalyst for Sarsfields second half performance and he took it very well under pressure. He was all over the pitch throughout the match and was a focal point for the Sars forwards, setting up and scoring some fine points and finished the day with 1-2, but he brings pace and ball winning ability more so.

Use the Next > above to go through the team 12. Joe Gallagher (Kiladangan) Perhaps the most important player for Kiladangan is Joe Gallagher and he really came into the game when the chips were down in the second half last Saturday. A good sign of how Kiladangan are playing is largely related to the performances of this man and he is arguably their most important player. He had a quiet opening to the game but he became much more prominent as the game wore on, notching 0-3 points, but he will no doubt be disappointed with a missed shot at goal going into injury time which could have levelled the tie. A great leader for his club.

Use the Next > above to go through the team 13. Paul Flynn (Kiladangan) Flynn has been scorer in chief for Kiladangan in the last few years and he made his mark on the scoreboard again against Sars with 0-4. He is a big threat and has been a consistent performer but he will be sick with the late chance he had to level the game from some 30 yards out, and when you consider the other scores he got in the game and the class he has, it was a poor miss but he put in another solid performances for his team.
