Paddy Creedon (Thurles Sarsfields) Creedon has made a savage impact for Sarsfields this year and has yet again earned his place in the team of the semi-finals. For such a big man, his turn of pace and direct running is serious and with the size of him, he is very difficult to stop when at full tilt. He isn't just a one trick pony though, as his striking has improved a lot as the year has wore on and he pointed some class efforts to finish the game with 0-5.

John McGrath (Loughmore Castleiney) If Loughmore are to go on and win a county final there will undoubtedly be a consensus that John McGrath was the biggest factor. He is churning out some top, top performances and he was immense when the game was in the melting pot; his point to give Loughmore the lead for the first time after picking up possession deep in his own defence was ridiculous. He registered 1-12 of his sides total and it bodes well from a county perspective that he is getting back to his brilliant best.
