EVENTS: Tipperary lady launches cooking book just in time for Christmas
The proceeds of Eileen's book will go towards Positive Steps Together.
The launch of a Tipperary ladies new cookbook will take place this weekend in Newcastle, Tipperary.
On Saturday evening the great Eileen Condon will launch a book containing her Favourite Recipes from her years in the catering industry locally.
The book is called Eileen’s Country Kitchen and it has been in the pipeline since her retirement a number of months ago.
The event takes place on Saturday December 13 at 6pm in Newcastle Community Hall.
All proceeds from the book will be going to Positive Steps Together.
Positive Steps Together are a group from Newcastle made up of parents of children with intellectual disabilities and interested and concerned members of the community.
Their aim is to build and develop a Day Care and Residential service for adults with intellectual disabilities and Respite Care for children with intellectual disabilities in Newcastle and surrounding areas.
