Great excitement for the annual school sports day in Cahir
Bunscoil na Cathrach
There was great excitement and a buzz in the air as the children in Bunscoil na Cathrach headed out to take part in their Sports Day on Friday, June 5.
The children of Sixth class were ready to entertain the younger students and waited patiently at the nine stations that they had carefully pre planned and set up on their own.
There were lots of fun activities at each station, including a penalty shoot -out, parachute games, tunnel ball, target games, crab soccer, an obstacle course, a water tunnel, sack races, Connect 4 and much more. Everyone had a great time in the sunshine.
A huge thank you goes to our wonderful Sixth class students who encouraged the younger children every step of the way and demonstrated such kindness, leadership and inclusivity throughout the day. It was truly a memorable day that was enjoyed by all.
Congratulations also go to our sixth Class students who celebrated their graduations last Friday with a special family event in the School Hall too!
