Guided tours to begin in Tipperary's largest town for the summer

Tours will be held on Tuesday and Saturday
Guided walking tours of Clonmel will begin tomorrow, Tuesday.
The tours will be conducted around the town centre at 11am each Tuesday and Saturday for ten weeks, and will last for just over an hour.
The tours are the brainchild of Cllr Tom Acheson, working in conjunction with Julia Walsh, Education and Outreach Officer at the Tipperary Museum of Hidden History.
They will be conducted by Johanna St. John, a professional tour guide.
Cllr Acheson told a meeting of Clonmel Borough District that if this pilot scheme is successful they will look to extend it for a longer period of time next year. He hoped that as many people as possible would support the tours.
They will be advertised by Tipperary County Council and the Tipperary Museum of Hidden History.
