6. Ronan Maher Rating: 8/10 A very good outing for the Thurles man was highlighted with his use of possession. Maher was guilty of hitting some very poor wides in previous games, rather than feed the inside line, and you could see he was conscious of this against Antrim. Still chipped in with good points and has the ability to be a match winner in the centre back position.

5. Robert Byrne Rating: 8/10 Byrne looks to be a real bolter for a starting position come championship. Like Kennedy, the possession game suits him and he certainly has good ability with ball in hand. Needs to sharpen up his defensive game but has impressed.

8. Dan McCormack Rating: 6/10 Was his usual busy self in his time on the pitch. Puts in a monumental amount of work and management were conscious of this by withdrawing the Borris-Ileigh man at half time. A big player for Tipp.

9. Barry Heffernan Rating: 7/10 Heffernan was less involved in the game in comparison to the Waterford game, and was not as economical with possession as he would expect, but he creates a good foil for the half back line and is generally good with ball in hand. Looks likely to start midfield for championship.
