10. John McGrath Rating: 5/10 Much was expected of John McGrath starting this game, but it was a short-lived jaunt on Sunday. Rory Hayes had the better of the Loughmore Castleiney man even before he was forced off with what looks to be a season ending ankle injury.

11. Noel McGrath Rating: 5/10 After his imperious performance against Waterford the week before, it is hard to understand how McGrath could have been so anonymous this time around. Never got into the game, with the Clare midfield along with John Conlon smothering any space for McGrath who's shooting was far from his best.

12. Michael Breen Rating: 5/10 A big struggle for the Ballina man. He didn't influence the game in any shape or form, and his relocation to the full forward line was baffling, as he looked like a duck out of water inside in the second half.

13. Jason Forde Rating: 5/10 Two games in a row where the Silvermines man has turned in an awful day at the office. It's not just his lack of involvement in general play, but his free-taking has falling off a cliff as he looks like a man shorn of the confidence which he always had. Worrying.
