St Molleran's GAA Club's Under 14 hurlers celebrate county title victory

St Molleran's GAA Club congratulates its Under-14 hurlers who were crowned Solar 2 Power County Champions last Saturday following their victory over Sacred Heart.

Final score was: 3-09 to 1-07.

The Mini-Molleran's Academy concluded last Sunday afternoon under fabulous sunshine. The club was honoured to be joined by Waterford Senior hurler Jack Prendergast of Lismore GAA Club and Waterford Senior camogie player Niamh Rockett of St Anne's Camogie Club to present medals and goodies to all the young players. The afternoon was a tremendous success. The club thanks all the coaching team for a brilliant year.

Congratulations also to Kildalkey Hurling & Football Club on their victory in the Ted Durcan Meath Senior Hurling Championship at the weekend. The club particularly congratulates St Molleran's GAA Club member Nick Fitzgerald and his sons Evan, who was Man Of The Match and Conor on the victory.

Nick is the team manager for Kildalkey and epitomises what it means to be a member of our wonderful association. He is a former sponsor and team manager of St Molleran's club, a current member as well as being part St Molleran's vital Club Development Team and the Raise The Roof sub group, which is responsible for the club's corporate fundraising.

Finally, the club extends sincerest sympathies to the Crowe Family, Oaklands on the passing of Ned. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
