6. Ronan Maher (Thurles Sarsfields) His first half performance was outstanding on Sunday and despite all the pre-match talk about his influence, Kiladangan couldn't bypass the Tipperary colossus at any stage. Had a quieter second half but still came up with big possession and delivered so many sweet balls into the forwards.

7. Willie Connors (Kiladangan) A man who really defied his fitness status to produce an incredible performance from the bench on Sunday. He has been struggling all year with an ankle injury, but he didn't look hampered in any way in the final, slotting in at wing back and dominating the area all game. His late point typifies the confidence he plays with and he will surely need to start the replay.

8. Stephen Cahill (Thurles Sarsfields) There aren't many better stick men in the county than Stephen Cahill at the moment. He lobbed over three lovely scores on Sunday, but more than that, he was key in getting on top of a Kiladangan midfield which has been operating very well this year. A key cog in the Sarsfields wheel.

9. Conor Cadell (JK Brackens) The younger of the Cadell brothers continued his impressive recent form with a vitally good performance on Saturday. In tight games, every score is vital and Conor came up with three of the best, all coming at important stages for Brackens. He covered so much ground to boot and looks like a real athlete.
