10. Sean Hayes (Kiladangan) Hayes is a man with a frightening pace and he used it to massive effect on Sunday. He got in behind Thurles on several occasions which all led to scores, one of which was a key score, setting up Paul Flynn for his second-half goal. He couldn't be curtailed and he will need to produce something similar in the replay.

11. Aidan McCormack (Thurles Sarsfields) McCormack has stepped up to the mark in a big way for Sarsfields this year, and he led the way in attack for them in Sunday's drawn final. He did not miss a single-placed ball which is incredible considering the pressure of the occasion, and also pitched in with three classy points from play. He is hugely important to this Thurles team.

12. Andrew Ormond (JK Brackens) Ormond had a quiet campaign by his own standards but he left his best for the most important game of his side's year on Saturday. He was a real focal point in attack for a numerically disadvantaged Brackens team, got through a mountain of work, and also hit three vitally important scores. Good to see after a tough recent run of injuries.

13. Eoin Purcell (Thurles Sarsfields) Purcell's influence in this game was such that Kiladangan had to bring off his marker early in the first half because of the danger he was posing. He very nearly set up a goal for Paddy Creedon in the first half, but he made a difference with the amount of scores he set up during the game. If he had a little more confidence in himself he might have taken on a shot late in the second half but he decided to pass instead which was overturned. Overall, he scored 0-1 himself and aided in plenty of others and had a very influential outing.
