7. Brian McGrath (Loughmore Castleiney) Had the freedom of Semple Stadium last weekend but even so, he was immense for Loughmore Castleiney and helped send his side through with three wins in a row. His use of the ball is second to none, and like all the McGrath clan, he reads the play like an open book. Classy.

8. Darragh Stakelum (Thurles Sarsfields) The main difference between the sides in FBD Semple Stadium last Sunday, Stakelum went to town on the Borris-Ileigh team in the game. He was everywhere on the day and hit a cool 0-6 from play and was unlucky not to have added a goal to that tally in the second half. Looks to be improving with every game.

9. Tadhg Gallagher (Kiladangan) Gallagher has been one of the consistent players in an inconsistent Kiladangan team in the last few months, and he hit near his heady heights in the win over Clonoulty Rossmore. Constantly on the ball, Gallagher covered every blade of grass and hit 0-3 lovely scores in the game. A well deserved inclusion.

10. Ed Connolly (Loughmore Castleiney) Connolly has steadily grown in influence as the championship has worn on and he has firmly put that cruciate knee injury behind him. He put in another noteworthy 60 minutes in the win over Upperchurch, hitting some great scores and just being a good outlet for deliveries from play and puck outs.
