11. David Kelly (Ballina) A man who didn't get on the scoresheet against Cashel King Cormacs, Kelly still brought a lot to a Ballina effort that just fell short of the mark in Borris-Ileigh last Saturday. His levels of fitness is impressive and had so many possessions during the game, setting up endless attacks. Continues his good form and will be hoping results can make it so he and his team get another day out.

13. Steven O'Brien (Ballina) He caused unbelievable consternation for Cashel King Cormacs all game long, but particularly so in the first half as he was the main focal point for deliveries. He hit 0-4 overall with three of those in the first half, but the move back of Eoghan Connolly subdued him somewhat.

14. Ger Browne (Cashel King Cormacs) He wasn't a man who was a constant feature throughout the win over Ballina, but when he did get onto the ball near goal he certainly left his mark, scoring 1-3 with his goal just before half time a vital boost for his team who were second best at that time.

15. Jack Lanigan (Thurles Sarsfields) Much of the good work of this Thurles Sarsfields team has been going through young Jack Lanigan of late, and it was just so again in the win over Sean Treacys last weekend. He was a real bright-spark all game, setting up scores and hitting his frees well and also hit two well taken scores from play.
