2. Martin Barnaville (Gortnahoe Glengoole) This Gortnahoe team are the very definition of a team playing with confidence, and even though they have been racking up big scores, their defence has been good, none more so the last day than Barnaville who came out with ball after ball in the match.

3. Kieran Ryan (Burgess) Burgess' resurgence has been a big highlight of the last few weeks, and they dug very dip indeed as they knocked down a fancied Cashel team. Their full back line in particular were very good throughout normal and extra time, with Kieran Ryan having a very good game at the edge of his team's square.

4. Sammy Ryan (St Marys) Operating at wing back for the Clonmel club, Sammy Ryan had a fantastic game in both his defensive and attacking duties. He was a constant in possession and whipped over a lovely point to add to that.

6. Darren O'Connor (Roscrea) Not his or his side's most testing day, but O'Connor marshalled his defence well all day. His experience is vital for this young Roscrea team, as he had his hand on the ball so often, setting up attacks and just bringing a level of calmness to the players around him.
