6. Bryan O'Mara Rating: 6/10 A victim of the role of a modern centre back, O'Mara conceded 1-3 from his direct opponent Rory Burke. O'Mara held his ground well throughout and picked up a lot of possession but at some expense.

7. Seamus Kennedy Rating: 7/10 Kennedy played his part in the 2025 success, but it is fair to say that he was not at his height all year. On the evidence of Saturday though, he looks to be fit, ready, and chomping at the bit to make an impression. He was the pick of the half back line, digging out loads of possession and while he had similar challenges to Caesar, he was the more prominent figure and rounded off the day with a superb point late on.

8. Willie Connors Rating: 8/10 Shrugged off a poor performance in Tralee the last day out to turn in a fantastic display of breathless effort in the middle. His workrate, tackling and composure on the ball was impressive and he delivered decent ball in anytime he could, despite the conditions.

9. Conor Stakelum Rating: 8/10 Like Connors, Stakelum covered every blade of grass and was surely at the top of the possession stats come the end of the game. As always, he did the simple things with utter efficiency, chipped in with a score and hit everything that moved out of possession.
