Liberty Music Festival has thanked all of their staff for their work over the festival weekend

The Liberty Music Festival took place over the weekend of July 4 and 5, with thousands flocking to Thurles to enjoy a jam-packed weekend of classic music from years gone by.

The weekend was a roaring success, with many on social media praising the running of the event.

The festival has proven to be a hit with the people of Thurles in its five years of running, with tickets selling out quickly each year.

The festival itself took to social media to thank those involved in the running of the festival, who kept the running of the event smooth and trouble-free throughout the weekend.

Thanking the volunteers and stewards at the festival, they said: “A huge thanks to all our volunteers and stewards who helped us out with the safe and smooth running of our festival last weekend. Their job is never really appreciated but it's so vital. So on our behalf - Thank You All.”

Thanking the gardaí responsible for overseeing the festival, they said: “Thank you so much to Thurles Gardai who were present on our Festival site all weekend. Not a bit of trouble over the 2 days and they interacted with the huge crowds so.”

Paying their thanks to the security team responsible for keeping a close eye on the run of proceedings, they said: “What a brilliant security team we had for the weekend. Thanks so much to all at Celtic Security Solutions for an amazing job. They had both a serious and fun side and everyone had nothing but good things to say about them.”
