Cassie is a ‘fluffy little diva with a sock obsession’

The Premier county is proudly being represented in the the finals of the 2026 Nose of Tralee by Cahir diva Cassie, otherwise known as ‘Sassy Cassie’.

Carol McLoughlin is proudly putting forward the case for Cassie to wear the crown, as the ‘fluffy little diva has a bit of a sock obsession—she doesn’t just steal them, she swallows them whole!’

Cassie has has had her stomach pumped twice because of this habit, yet she still loves nothing more than a good chase around the garden with a sock in her mouth.

‘When her head is not stuck in the underwear drawer she loves cuddles and walks to meet as many people as she can. She’s got a big personality and an even bigger voice whenever she hears the word “No!” But a good scratch behind the ears is her weak point!’

The Nose of Tralee competition is run by the company Pet Sitters Ireland, with voting closing on August 17.
