Tipperary duo 2 Johnnies bring their Pints in a Field experience to Cork
Tipperary duo bring their Pints in a Field back ‘home’ to Cork next summer
Ahead of their 10 year anniversary celebration in the 3Arena this December, The 2 Johnnies podcast have announced that they are bringing their outdoor extravaganza Pints In A Field 5 to Virgin Media Park, Cork on Saturday 19th June 2027.
Johnny B and Johnny Smacks will be joined in Cork by special guests Example, Sharon Shannon’s Ceilí, legendary Kerry footballer Pat Spillane for a DJ Set, Ireland’s sexiest Farmer Competition, and many more; with the day set to be MC’d by Cork comedian Andrew Ryan
Johnny Smacks: “Pints in a Field coming back to Cork, the original home, is absolutely massive. We’ve done our thing in Dublin, but bringing it down the country opens up a whole new world of possibilities.
“There’s so much we can do down there, and if the people of Cork think they’ve seen everything, they’re in for a serious surprise. DJ Example on the decks, Jamie McIntyre, a Pat Spillane DJ set — and that’s only the start. I’ll be there before the gates even open.”
Johnny B: “There’s only one place Pints in a Field truly belongs, and that’s back in Cork. Taking it outside Dublin and bringing it to the people down here is a no-brainer.
“Sharon Shannon on the lineup has me absolutely buzzing, and I’m hearing Paddy Fong might be making an appearance too. Also, and you’re looking for love, we’re hosting Ireland’s sexiest farmer competition. Who needs Tinder? So get to Virgin Media Park next June for a night you won’t forget!"
