Bus stops are disappearing across County Kildare
Bus stops are disappearing across County Kildare without any information being provided for commuters.
That’s according to Cllr Bill Clear, who told a Kildare County Council meeting that a map of all bus stops in Co Kildare.
“People need to know where the bus stops are and what condition they are in,” he said.
He said people in rural areas want to use public transport.

He contradicted a claim by KCC that full details of the public service operator bus services in County Kildare are published by Transport for Ireland on their website.
However, KCC also said it has the geo location data for all bus stops in the County and will examine the feasibility of preparing a map with this data.
KCC official Celina Barrett said KCC is working to convert these geo locations into a map layout.
