The planning permission application has been submitted by Cosmo Developments

A construction company is seeking planning permission to make changes to a previously proposed apartment and crèche building in Kildare.

Cosmo Developments has applied for permission from Kildare County Council to make the amendment to a previously granted crèche and apartment building, which would be located in Meadow Mill, Clonmullin and Gallowshill, Geraldine Road in Athy.

Specifically, the proposed amendment consists of the change of use from common rooms to a new three-bedroom ground floor apartment.

The description within the application also notes that the occupancy of crèche provision will be unaffected by the amendment.

In addition, Cosmo Developments is seeking permission for a new single-storey, detached communal bin store.

The date received on the application is listed as September 30 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as November 3, 2025 and November 24, 2025.

According to the business information website SoloCheck.ie, Cosmo Developments was established in February of 2020.

It specialises in the "development of building projects".

Cosmo Developments has a registered address listed as Unit 2, The Enterprise Centre Kilcock in Kilcock.
