A majority of Naas councillors have voted to get rid of three more parking spaces in the town.
The places are located at Fairgreen.
The reason behind the move, which may be temporary, is to make room to accommodate recycle bins.
Cllrs Bill Clear, Carmel Kelly, Seamie Moore and Fintan Brett voted in favour of the proposal.
One councillor, Fine Gael’s Evie Sammon, abstained from the vote. Cllr Anne Breen was the only councillor to vote against the move.
Former councillor Bob Quinn (Green) did not vote, commenting that this is not a suitable location for the bins.
