A family in Robertstown, Co Kildare, will remember their beloved Kedagh Moore on the second anniversary of his death.

Kedagh, who was 16 when he died in a hit-and-run incident in November 2024, is remembered with love by his parents, Glenda and John, sister Sadhbh, grandad John, extended family and friends.

A popular student at Scoil Mhuire Community School in Clane, Kedagh was also a valued member of Clane United Football Club, where he was described as a “terrific young man”.

Kedagh will be remembered at the 6.30pm Mass on Saturday, November 7th, in Christ the King Church, Cooleragh.

The family asks that prayers be offered for Kedagh on his second anniversary.

In July 2026, Marin Silaghi, 41, was jailed for five years and nine months in connection with the incident. He was also disqualified from driving for 15 years.

The family’s heartfelt anniversary tribute remembers Kedagh as a carefree soul with a brilliant mind, a kind heart and a wonderful sense of humour.

A lover of music, football and the outdoors, he brought joy to those around him and cherished time spent with family and friends.
