Green light for new therapy facility in Kildare shopping centre

An planning application has been granted by Kildare County Council for for a therapy facility in Kildare town. 

Approval was sought for the change of use of the unit in Kildare Town Shopping Centre from commercial/office/retail to rehabilitation and therapy/training.

The unit has a gross floor area of 64.4 square metres. 

Also in the plans was a retention of alterations to the existing Unit 1 granted in 2021 including the repositioning, sizing and reduction of number of windows on the rear of the unit.

The estimated construction value of the project is €800,000 according to the Construction Information Services database.
