Horseriding trails could be opened on state-owned lands in Kildare

Horse-related tourism may have scope for expansion
Opportunities to develop equestrian and tourism amenities in Kildare should be examined by the county council.
Cllr Veralouise Behan has asked Kildare County Council to explore the potential of the expanding horse related activities.
Cllr Behan said this should include "assessing the potential for bridleways and trail-riding routes on state-owned lands and identifying measures to support equestrian-focused enterprises."
