We will be holding our very popular Easter Egg Hunt on Good Friday April 7 from 2pm to 4pm at Punchestown Racecourse.

The dog walk around the racecourse runs from 3pm to 4pm.

Children love this event each year, setting off with their maps to work their way around all the hidden markers along the trail.

The prize on completion is an Easter Egg, which adds to the fun.

It is a brilliant day out for families and for dogs. Parking and admission are free.

All are welcome to this enjoyable event which helps to raise funds for our animals.

Knitted hens

We are very grateful to Lily Mannion and her Naas Knitting Group for donating 150 beautifully knitted hens.

The detail and precision in the making of each colourful hen is remarkable, and a lot of time and effort has been made to have them looking their very best.

Every hen contains a small chocolate egg and would look very well as a Cosy for boiled eggs on Easter Sunday.

They will be for sale on Good Friday for just €3 each.
