KILDARE ANIMALS IN NEED: Touching video tells story of Callie

We have produced a heartwarming Christmas video telling the story of one of our rescue dogs, Callie.

It is an emotive short two minute clip with a happy festive ending, and was beautifully produced by videographer Lukas Pudzemis from Newbridge.

It can be viewed on You Tube by entering the words ‘Happy Christmas Callie’. It is also on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. The purpose of this video is to bring more awareness about the work that we do at the shelter. We hope that you like it and share it with others.

Lukas has a real gift for film making and also a generous heart, as he gave all his time in producing the video for free.

Thank you

Thank you to the staff at Kildare County Council who held a fund raising Christmas jumper day and bake sale for us. Rescue dog Callie visited the Council Head Office to meet staff on the day and was given a warm welcome.

Thanks also to C&K Fitzpatrick in Straffan for a donation of €600 to our charity which is much appreciated.

Adoption

The last Kitty Cottage Adoption Day this year took place on December 9. It has been a very successful year with lots of cats and kittens going to lovely homes. Thanks very much to everyone who supports the work at the Kitty Cottage. We will re-open again on January 6.
