KILDARE: Council gives permission for four apartment blocks rising as high as six storeys

A total of 115 apartments in four blocks are being built.

Kildare County Council granted permission to Ladas Property Company for the large-scale residential development on lands adjoining and to the rear of St Mary's Church, Mill Street, Maynooth. 

The plans include a creche and restaurant/cafe, an office unit and a basement for car parking, bicycle storage and bin storage areas.

Block A will be a four-storey building comprising a creche and restaurant/cafe at ground floor level and upper floors incorporating an office unit, seven one-bed apartments and ten two-bed apartments

Block B1 will be an apartment block ranging from three to five storeys comprising a total of 32. residential apartments to consist of six one-bed apartments, 19 two-bed apartments and seven three-bed apartments.

Block B2 will be a six storey apartment block comprising a total of 48 residential apartments to consist of 13 one-bed apartments and 35 two-bed apartments.

Block C will range from four to five storeys comprising a total of 18 residential apartments.
