Kildare County Council’s elected members have proudly presented the Kildare Senior Football Team with a Certificate of Recognition, celebrating the team’s remarkable achievement in this year’s Tailteann Cup.

The presentation, held at Aras Chill Dara, was led by Cllr Carmel Kelly, Cathaoirleach of the County of Kildare, who extended best wishes to the team for the upcoming football season and expressed hope for continued success and future celebrations.

This certificate serves as a formal acknowledgement to the team’s dedication and outstanding sporting achievement, which have brought great pride to County Kildare.

Speaking at the event, Cllr Carmel Kelly, Cathaoirleach of the County of Kildare said: "It is with immense pride that we honour the Kildare Senior Football Team for their dedication and outstanding achievement. Their commitment and teamwork have brought great honour to County Kildare, and we look forward to celebrating many more successes together in the years ahead."

Earlier this year, the county’s senior hurling team was also honoured with a Certificate of Recognition, following their success in the Joe McDonagh Cup.
