KILDARE COURT: Woman 'got 100 missed calls from her dangerous ex partner'

A woman received 100 missed calls from her ex-partner using a private number, it was alleged in court.
The woman applied for the protection of a court at a family law hearing in Naas District Court.
She described the man, the father of her child, as dangerous and said that while she has blocked him on her phone “he’s getting others to send me messages.”
The woman also alleged that he was controlling and violent “when he was with me.”
She said he is threatening to “come to my job.”
The defendant’s partner was not present and application of this kind can be made with only one party being present in court.
Judge Desmond Zaidan granted the woman an interim protection order and adjourned the matter for a fuller hearing on December 11.
