Georgakopoulou, Myrto (Greece) - 15th December 2022. Sadly missed by her loving husband Tom Loughlin and beloved daughter Nefeli, her mother Iphigenia, her sister Aliki and her family, all the Loughlin family (Borahard, Naas Road, Newbridge, Co Kildare), extended family, relatives, colleagues and friends.

Myrto's's funeral will be held on Monday, 19th December 2022, at 12.00, noon at the First Cemetery of Athens, Greece.

The death has occurred of Joseph Henry (Harry) Duffy

Rheban Manor, Athy, Kildare / Enniscorthy, Wexford

Joseph Henry (Harry) Duffy, “Nirvana” Rheban Manor, Athy, Co Kildare and formerly of 2 Pearson Road, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, passed away peacefully after a short illness in the loving care of the staff of St. Brigid’s Hospice, The Curragh on Sunday 18th December. Predeceased by his wife Josephine (Jessie) Duffy and step daughter Nayana Mulligan. He will be sadly missed by his long-time partner Amara Senaratna, his sons Gregory Duffy, Neville Duffy and Leslie Duffy, sister Etheireda Prudhomme, daughters-in-law Rosarii, Collette and G, step sons Athula De Silva and Upul De Silva and their wives Caroline M and Caroline S. Grandchildren (Duffy’s) Paul, David Natalie, Kenny, Damien, Keith, Hanna Emma and Shane (De Silva’s) Aaron, Glenn, Nicole, Nathan, Eleanor, Joseph and Sarah, great grandchildren (Duffy’s) Lee, Eva and Noah, (De Silva’s) Theo, Lexi and Sienna, nephews and nieces, friends and family at home and abroad and our neighbours.

Harry will repose at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Athy, (R14 NX80) on Monday, 19th December, from 4pm to 6pm. Removal on Tuesday 20th December to Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, for Committal Service at 3pm, Harry’s service of remembrance will be live streamed on the following link: Mount Jerome Crematorium.

Luton, England late of, Newbridge, Kildare / Kildare Town, Kildare

Sheedy (nee Moylan) Gertie, Luton, England, & late of Newbridge & Kildare Town, retired nurse, Naas General Hospital, following a short illness. 30th October 2022. Beloved mother of Dee. Predeceased by her parents Sarah & John, brothers Ger, Liam, John-Joe & sister Marie. Sadly, missed by her loving daughter Dee, son-in-law Ricky, sister Carmel. Dee’s father Thos Sheedy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives & friends.

Reposing took place at SA Bates Funeral Home in Dunstable, England, with removal on Wednesday, 23rd November, to St. Joseph’s Church, Gardenia Avenue, Luton for 10.30am requiem Mass, followed by cremation at 12pm at The Vale Cemetery, Butterfield Green Road, Luton, which was available for viewing on https://watch.obitus.com. Family flowers only, please.

Reposing at her residence (R14 R840) from 4pm on Sunday (December 18th) with Rosary on Monday evening at 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to arrive at St Abban's Church, Killeen, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

DOYLE, Doreen – 17th December 2022 - Sallins, County Kildare, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Ryevale Nursing Home. Beloved wife and best friend of George. Doreen will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving husband, her sisters Patty and Eithne, sister in law Maureen, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
