KILDARE: Electric vehicle chargers being planned at Maynooth University

Maynooth University is seeking tenders for the supply of electric vehicle chargers on its campus.

The third-level institution is planning a minimum of 20 parking spaces across three locations.

The value of the tender to supply, build, operate and maintain the EV charging facilities is €300,000.

Being planned are 7.2kW single phase Smart Electric Vehicle Chargers (Single and Dual Socket) with dynamic load management.

The tender documents also refer to 22kW three phase Smart Electric Vehicle Chargers (Single and Dual Socket) with dynamic load management and 24kW or above DC Charger to a maximum of 180kW.
