Kildare motorist stopped with 'full house' of driving offences

An Garda Síochána #NaasRPU stopped a vehicle in Naas recently - and it quickly became clear the driver was bringing plenty of attention to themselves.

The driver had:

• No insurance
• No tax
• No NCT

The vehicle was detained and a €250 release fee applies.

The driver was issued with €180 in Fixed Charge Penalty Notices, carrying three penalty points, and will also face a summons to court.

A garda spokesperson said of the incident: “If you choose to drive without the basics in place, you are going to attract Garda attention. No insurance. No tax. No NCT. No excuses.”
