KILDARE: No date available to fix road in estate

No date is available to repair roads in the Castlesize estate in Sallins.
At a Naas Municipal District meeting Sallins councillor Carmel Kelly asked Kildare County Council to provide a date “when Castlesize estate can expect the reinstatement works be undertaken, following work by Coffey Construction on behalf of Irish Water over 2 years ago.”
KCC says it’s awaiting the completion of an agreement with Irish Water and the contractor for the final reinstatement of the road in Castlesize.
“This reinstatement is associated with the delivery of improved water services infrastructure in the Naas Municipal District. Surfacing works subject to this agreement will not commence until 2023.”
