Kildare's Bluebells and Buskers 2024 postponed

Fields too wet for parking
This year's Bluebells and Buskers 2024 , which was due to take place today, May 5, has been rescheduled.
The event began in 2013 as a tribute to the memory of the late Jimmy O'Loughlin, and is one that is suited perfectly for nature and music lovers, walkers, children and families.
Senator Fiona O'Loughlin said: "We were all set for this year’s Bluebells and Buskers, but unfortunately the weather wasn’t!
"Having checked the fields that are used for parking again, they are simply too wet to use."
She continued: "Without adequate and appropriate parking for a proper traffic management system there would be chaos.
"It is with great regret that we have taken the decision not to go ahead on Sunday, May 5, but will reschedule for the June bank holiday weekend Sunday, June 2.
Senator O'Loughlin added: "Sadly, the bluebells will be gone, but we can promise great entertainment and craic!"
