Milltown progress in Leinster Championship following win over Kilbride

Milltown 1-11

Kilbride 1-7

Milltown are into the Leinster Junior Club Championship semi-finals following their win over Kilbride. A dynamite couple of minutes just after the concession of a goal at the other end saw Milltown into command of this game. Trailing by one after the Kilbride goal, Hugh Hamilton and Conor Sheerin knocked over excellent scores to return Milltown to the lead.

Karl Heuston would win the resulting kick out and lob Kilbridge goalkeeper Craig Manning superbly to punish the poor restart. The goal made it 1-10 to 1-6 and Milltown closed out for victory from there.
