Naas CBS in Leinster schools final after tense win Coláiste Choilm Tullamore

Leinster Post-Primary Senior Football 'A' Semi Final
Naas CBS 1-7
Coláiste Choilm Tullamore 0-8
Naas CBS are through to the Leinster Post-Primary Senior Football 'A final after their victory over Coláiste Choilm Tullamore. It was an enthralling game from start to finish and after a strong if not wasteful first half performance from Naas they looked well on their way to winning this game.
However, two Jack Connolly scores after the break brought the gap back to one as the Tullamore school took control of the game. Naas' first half problems of poor decision making in attack had spread from one to 15 as they looked bereft of ideas for much of the second half.
Coláiste Choilm took the lead for the first time in the game with 12 minutes to go and all the momentum seemed to be heading in their direction.
Naas to their credit regained a foothold and took three scores in as many minutes to restore an advantage and those moments of calm and quality from Ryan Sinkey and Stephen Kelly were crucial.
Coláiste Choilm missed three score-able frees late on and as the chances slipped through the fingers so did this game as Naas survived what could have been a serious upset loss.
