Need for glass recycling facility in County Kildare town

Kildare County Council says it’s willing to examine any potential sites for a glass recycling facility in Castledermot that local councillors suggest.
Cllr Brian Dooley asked. at an Athy Municipal District meeting, how the public could recycle glass in the area.
KCC also pointed out that potential sites must have access for service vehicles, an absence of overhead cables and must be at least 50 metres away from residential accommodation.
