No playground for Kildare town 'until house building starts'

Ballymore Eustace is still waiting for a playground.

Information about the long awaited amenity was requested by Cllr Anne Breen at a Naas Municipal District committee meeting.

According to Kildare County Council, a location for it is “subject to a proposed future planning application” by the Ballymore Group construction entity.

And KCC will “liaise with the applicant in relation to proposals.”

The meeting was told that KCC does not itself have a suitable site and is dependent on a planning application from a developer.
