NOTICE: Punchestown site to be closed to walkers and public as Festival preparations continue

Punchestown will soon be closed to walkers and public as festival preparations continue.

The closure will take place from Wednesday, April 12 to Wednesday, May 3.

Organisers said: "There is a lot of traffic, machinery, trucks etc moving around and to keep everyone safe and give the hard-working track team space to work we request that walkers make alternative arrangements.

"Walking Sunday will take place and we ask supporters to please keep an eye on social media for further info."

The organisers also said that they are seeking volunteers to steward the track for the Millbrook Cup between 1pm to 5pm on Sunday, April 23.

Those interested can contact [email protected].

Organisers for the upcoming festival added: "We look forward to welcoming our neighbours and community to the 2023 Festival.

"Your support safeguards Punchestown which is a great local amenity."
