The news comes just shy of two months after Diane O'Hora stepped down

Pat Sullivan has been appointed as the new Kildare senior ladies football manager. Sullivan previously had two separate three-year spells in charge of Waterford and he comes in with big shoes to fill following the incredibly successful stint of Diane O'Hora, who stepped down nearly two months ago.

The appointment comes following ratification at a county board meeting on Wednesday evening.

Sullivan joins a Kildare team dining at the top table in both league and Championship. The Kildare ladies achieved back-to-back promotions to join Division 1 for 2025 and dramatically retained their Senior status against Laois at the end of last season, thanks to a Neasa Dooley penalty.
