Retired Kildare jockey Ruby Walsh to feature at Cheltenham preview night in Straffan

A Cheltenham Preview eventing takes place in Straffan on Saturday, March 2nd with another all-star panel of experts getting together.
And there will be some UK flavour at the event at Barberstown Castle with ITV Racing’s Oli Bell spearheading the panel.
With ‘The Olympics’ of National Hunt racing just around the corner, the festival’s winning most jockey Ruby Walsh will once again take his place on the stage and he will be accompanied by Barry Geraghty, the second most successful jockey in the history of the festival.
Joining the two Cheltenham Festival greats will be Johnny Dineen, renowned as one of Ireland’s most-shrewdest punters and a regular on the racing show Upping The Ante.
“We’re now in our third year of hosting our Cheltenham Preview night", said Amanda Torrens, Director of Barberstown Castle.
"We’ve been sold out for the past two years and with Oli Bell now bringing a bit of UK flavour to the evening, we just can’t wait.
"And we’re also hugely excited to be hosting our big event in aid of Scoil Bhride and Sensational Kids”.
Auction and raffle items on the night will include a trip for two people to the Cheltenham festival, courtesy of racingbreaks.com.
