Shakeytry pulls clear late on to claim Handicap Chase victory at Naas

Phillip Enright has ridden Shakeytry to victory in the Race And Stay Handicap Chase at Naas today. The Edward O’Grady trained horse came home a comfortable winner, pulling clear of a clearly tiring 10/1 outsider Kildorrery after jumping the last.

Shakeytry went off at 3/1 and second favourite in this race with favourite Indiana Jones and Darragh O’Keefe struggling to make their mark in the closing stages of this race.

This Handicap Chase win makes it a fourth victory in 25 race career for Shakeytry with this no doubt being one of the best for the 11-year-old.
