Celbridge man Kevin Larkin will lead Louth in their Junior final before former Kildare goalkeeper Shane 'Shortie' McCormack will leading his Meath side into an All-Ireland final

Following on from Brendan Cawley being the man in the middle for Kerry's 39th All-Ireland SFC win over Donegal, there will once again be a Kildare GAA figure in Croke Park this weekend with former county goalkeeper Shane 'Shortie' McCormack leading his Meath ladies side into an All-Ireland final.

The Royals face Dublin in the 2025 TG4 LGFA All-Ireland Senior Football final with throw-in scheduled for 4:15pm with Laois vs Tyrone at Intermediate level and Antrim vs Louth at Junior preceding the main event. The latter of which will also contain the presence of a Kildare manager with Celbridge's Kevin Larkin looking to bring The Wee County to the second tier of ladies football.

The Allenwood man was named Meath ladies boss in September 2023 after the conclusion of the year's action and now in his second year has led them to the SFC decider. McCormack has a stellar record in ladies football having led Armagh back to Division 1 in 2023 and won Ulster titles in 2021 and 2022 as a selector under Ronan Murphy.

The Leinster Leader extends their best wishes to the latest Kildare man to participate in an All-Ireland Final.
