Woman claims she received up to 100 calls a day from her ex-partner

ALLEGED HARASSMENT
The ex-partner of a woman had been calling her excessively, Naas District Court was told on Thursday, December 1.
The woman told Judge Joanne Carroll that she had been receiving up to 100 calls a day.
She added that he had previously threatened to murder her.
As a result, she said she now fears for her safety, and also for the safety of their children.
She also alleged that on a recent occasion, he sent a video to his own mother (who acts as a go-between for the two parties whenever they discuss matters relating to their children), which showed him taking two pills in the presence of their children.
Judge Carroll agreed to grant a temporary protection order for the woman, and specified in the order that he can only contact her via his mother.
