Women's Interest story- women in business, parenting, child friendly networking and April's drive with Hopefull Handbags throughout the country

Subject: Child Friendly Networking Events return and Hopefull Handbags Drive for April
Dear Team for North Kildare and Dublin editions and NATIONWIDE,
I am a networking leader with Mums/Moms In Business International, we offer child friendly networking events and after 8 long months of hosting all of our networking and training events online, due to COVID, we are finally planning our return to in person events. It would be great if we could get a story out to share with Irish mums, nannas and women in the business community and show how we are all moving back towards normality. I have provided some details below and have also attached a media kit to provide more information on Mums/Moms In Business International, along with some photos.
Mum, carer and business owner, Aislíng Owens Nash, is bringing back in person child friendly networking events to Dublin and Kildare this month. Running her own health and wellness business and a free lower tox living community group on Facebook, Aislíng has always enjoyed and benefited from networking with other women. The global pandemic put a halt to all in person events but after over a year of the company running everything online Aislíngis finally able to bring the events back into the community.
Aislíng has been a networking leader for Mums/Moms In Business International (MIB Int) for 8 months after founding the first Republic of Ireland community group last Autumn and welcomes all women in business, not just mums, to join their local Facebook community (Mums In Business Int. Networking Dublin and Kildare) and attend the networking events that she will be hosting. The networking events are incredibly friendly and informal with no ‘suited and booted’ approach required and best of all they are child friendly. Children of all ages are welcome to attend events, which means the events are much more accessible to mums running business who ordinarily might not be able to network. Aislíng has been the Head Networking Leader for Ireland and Northern Ireland helping to bring the brand and these communities to more grassroots locations around the country.
The return of the Dublin and Kildare networking events will be held on 26th April at 10am and will be at The Housekeepers Room at Castletown House, Celbridge and will then be held monthly in various locations. We even have a special event planned with Kildare Village in a few months.
‘I am really looking forward to getting our networking events started back up in the community and getting to meet so many more of our local businesswomen. Networking is a great way for business owners to grow professionally and personally, collaborate, and see continued growth. I am also excited to recruit new leaders for all areas around Ireland and look forward to launching our Dublin and South West of Ireland groups before the end of the summer. We are always looking for wonderful women to head up groups in their counties or towns’ – Aislíng
Every month we run a monthly 'give back' programme in line with our ticket sales as part of our philanthropic mission set out by our founder, CEO and soon to be mum of 6 Leona Burton and we work on these missions collective, as a global community, in our local communities! This is women supporting women at its best.
Over the last number of months alone and on behalf of our members who attended events, we planted over 500 trees in a rainforest to combat deforestation, we gifted training and education supports to over 600 women in need of assistance to grow their skills and income, we donated over 500 packs of sanitary products to combat period poverty, we are purchasing and donation essential items to Ukrainian refugees from our March events.
This month we are working with our global partner Hopefull Handbags to collect and fill as many bags and backpacks as we can to support women, men and children who are in need of support when leaving situations where domestic abuse or violence has occured. We are looking for women in business throughout the country to support us in collecting and filling bags in their local area and redistributing the bags to their local crisis/support centre as part of our campaign.
For our Dublin and Kildare meeting on April 26th in Castletown House we will be gathering the bags and supplies, cleaning, packing and writing cards and messages to add to the bags, while we network.
