4 week long resurfacing project commences in Athy today

Kildare County Council has confirmed that a 4 week resurfacing project on the N68 in Athy has commenced today, with delays to be expected in the area.

The works will be in place between the road's junction with the R418 up to an including the railway bridge.

It is understood that traffic management will be in place for the duration of the works in Athy and motorists are being urged to take care when travelling in the area.
