A small Naas-based company scooped a prestigious business award last night

A Kildare company has scooped the award for the best innovator of the year at the SFA National Small Business Awards in the RDS last night. The Naas based company won the Innovator of the Year Award for their work over the past 12 months.

Ash Technologies design, develop, manufacture and distribute globally, a unique range of high definition digital inspection microscopes and digital non-contact measurement and recording solutions that are used in many industries. The business was set up initially as a low vision assistive technology company but when exhibiting a high definition magnification product at a trade show four years ago, a light-bulb moment happened. Engineers saw the product and bought it as a magnifying device to look at engineering parts.
