Back gardens being flooded because of drainage issue

Back gardens of some private houses in Ballymore Eustace  are “starting to get flooded”, Cllr Evie Sammon told a Naas Municipal District meeting.

The councillor asked Kildare County Council to “address the drainage issues on Barrack Street and Truce Road."

She said extra gullies are needed and should be provided before planned traffic calming measures are undertaken.

Kildare County Council is to review the drainage at both locations.
