The main street in Naas will be closed to traffic for the event

The Naas Community Bealtaine Festival takes place on Sunday next (May 17).

Among the events will be street exhibitions, a food tasting venue, a helicopter fly-past, a motorbike cavalcade as well as parades and music at a number of venues in the town.

The town centre in Naas will be closed off from 12 noon until 6pm.

Those representing community groups who wish to take part in a parade are asked to contact Tom at 087-2264133 as soon as possible - if they have not already done so. This is to help ensure the smooth running of the events and to encourage as many as possible to participate.
