Call for bins, seats and CCTV at new Skatepark in Newbridge

Councillor Fiona McLoughlin Healy has requested that Kildare Co Council provide rubbish bins at the site of the new Skatepark in Newbridge.

The politician also called for seating for parents "who have no option at the moment but to stand for long periods while supervising young children."

The public representative said that replace the bins that were removed when redesigning the park should be replaced.

She also queried if CCTV is planned for the park.

Cllr McLoughlin Healy will raise the issue at the monthly meeting of Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District next week.

The politician will also call for progress update on an investigation of how the Water Tower could be demolished and removed in Newbridge.
